CONFIRMATION

It is a Catholic sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. Like Baptism and Eucharist, Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation for Catholics and a Sacrament of faith in God's fidelity to us.

High School Students: Students in the 11th grade may be eligible for preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The student must have at least one year of religious education. Classes begin in August, with Confirmation taking place in the spring. Preparation includes weekly Faith Formation classes, a required Confirmation Retreat, service experiences and more.

Adults: Confirmation preparation for adults is coordinated through the RCIA program.
